Merhaba. I’m Ipek Sahinler, I’m an assistant professor in gender studies, literature, rhetoric and writing at the University of Texas at Austin. I grew up in Istanbul, studied in Europe, and lived/worked in Latin America. My research is about the Global South, particularly modern Turkish and Mexican literature from the lens of queer theory.
